Just made this Mac and Cheese for my five year old daughter. She gave it 500 thumbs up. I had to cook the pasta for 6 minutes and it was still pretty firm. But on the other hand it did not turn to mush or get pasty. I mixed the cheese powder with the cold milk with a whisk then whisked in soft butter (both measured as directed on the box) Then stirred in the hot drained pasta and whisked. It was creamy and cheesy. It has been quite a challenge to make my five year happy with food these days. So this was a hit for both of us.
