Shelf life: approx 12 months - exp date on bottom of box

Cereal can be eaten as a hot or cold cereal. For a HOT cereal: empty contents of packet into a bowl and add up to 1/3 cup WARM water or fruit juice (no need to boil). Stir and enjoy. For a COLD cereal: empty contents of packet into a bowl and add up to 1/3 cup milk or milk substitute.

Puffed Amaranth is also a great topping for granolas or flaked cereals.
